About KC Behavioral Health
KC Behavioral Health knows that there is no “one-size fits all” approach to ABA therapy. Some children might benefit from 10 hours per week of therapy, while others benefit from 1-2 hours per week. When Tate assesses your child, she will provide a child-specific recommendation based on data collected during the assessment. Following the assessment process, Tate will provide her recommendation and create a treatment plan tailored to meet your child’s needs. During direct therapy sessions, Tate will also collaborate with caregivers to ensure continuation of learning in the home environment outside of sessions. Collaboration between families and the provider play a vital role in supporting the success of the learner.
KC Behavioral Health is an ABA company founded by board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), Tate Knudsen. Tate has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for seven years and has been a BCBA since 2022. In her time in the field, Tate has worked in homes, schools and clinics as both a BCBA and a Clinical Director. Through this experience, Tate has learned the importance of a safe and fun learning environment in supporting strong treatment outcomes.
